RECORDING / DOCUMENTING
Target/Bystander Recording/Documenting
Workplace bullying and professional sexual coercion are common and often under-reported.
In our proprietary portal, targets and bystanders record individual incidents which are date and time stamped in the system. Historical experiences can also be recorded/documented.
All records may be used by a target/bystander as required.
The WorkRight23 proprietary platform is safe and secure.
The mental health of targets and bystanders is regularly checked while recording incidents. If any decline is noted, a WorkRight23 Options Coach will initiate contact with them.
Each target/bystander will be provided access to information on the WorkRight23 Knowledge Base about their options (to self-manage, formal reporting, ERA, WorkSafe, etc.), enabling an informed decision about their best course of action.
In cases where a perpetrator has been identified by more than one target/bystander, each target/bystander will be contacted individually by a WorkRight23 Legal Options Coach, who will discuss additional options.
There is no obligation on a target to take any action.
Recording in WorkRight23 reduces/takes away the isolation and re-traumatisation associated with previous reporting methods.
WorkRight23 seeks to remove the re-traumatisation of targets/bystanders, brought on via reporting through their organisation or any general complaints body. The WorkRight23 process is self-managed and allows the target/bystander to record/document events as they unfold while allowing them time to decide if, when, and how to act when ready.
